As we all have seen the changes in the seasons with the leaves turning colors, we also have seen the changes in the lending industry. For FHA financing the NEW downpayment requirement is just a little more than 3%, the new downpayment requirement is 3.5%. What is up with all these crazy times? Trying to keep up with the changes... new president coming into the Oval Office, new daylight savings time, as well as the sun disappearing much sooner than we all really want. Hang in there everyone this too shall pass.

Hi Boe - Another category in which Seattle ranks fairly low is in the dating scene. Apparently, if you're single, it's supposed to be hard to meet "the right one!" I thought you might have a good insight into this statistic because you own a bar.

Of course, this doesn't affect us old, married geezers!!!!!

Bro Boe,
Good to see all enjoying the events of the Seahawks!!
In reading your Shortsale scenario most lenders on second lien positions typically will work down to about 10 cents on the dollar especially if the first is leveraged of BFMV. With your scenario the bank is willing to negotiate and close quick! This is what we have found to be the case.
Fraternally,
David Haley

Jim,

Thanks for the comment. We are actaully working on a DeMolay reunion that will be this October at the Nile. The Alumni Association is organizing it. The coordinators are Joel Davis and Corrine Flaherty. It should be a fun night.

Boe, it's remarkable how many Sr. DeMolays still stay in touch with each other (and the Jobies they knew then, too). There's always a special bond.

I probably have a unique situation in that the M.C. who gave me my first office in DeMolay in 1971 works with me. He hasn't changed much, other than his hair is greyer. I'd prefer to have the hair I had in 1971, too.
